Trent Country Park
Meet 10.00 am staff yard, far end of Snakes Lane (off Bramley Rd., opp. Oakwood Tube) by Animal Corner
We were going to carry out clearance on mile & quarter north footpath in Forty Hall, but due to the Mayor’s Fun Run, we’ll carry out some work in the Nature Trail in Trent Country Park.
Sunday 28th
Tatem Park
Meet 10:00am Vehicle entrance, Hedge Lane, Palmers Green
Continuing our assistance with the Friends of Tatem Park, we will be continuing the path and other wild area maintenance.

OCTOBER
Sunday 12th
Forty Hall
Meet 10.00am Forty Hall car park, off Forty Hill.
With advice from the charity Froglife, we will be carrying out some pond work including creating a hibernacular! and hopefully finishing the pollarding of the large hornbeam.
Sunday 26th
Trent Country Park

Sycamore is still in abundance in the Nature Trail, and as it is of little wildlife value, we will be carrying on with the clearance. Although Groundforce will have carried out some work in the Nature Trail, there is plenty still to clear. We may even attempt a charcoal burn, to use the timber we fell.

Tuckers Field (North Enfield Rec.)
Meet 10:00am Woodbine Gr. entrance
The Friends of Tuckers Field have again secured funding for hedge-planting, so we will be helping to plant the whips and some wildflowers we have.
Sunday 23rd
Forty Hall
Meet 10.00am Forty Hall car park, off Forty Hill.
With the hedgelaying competition looming, this is an opportunity to carry our some conservation work and produce a useful by-product. We will be coppicing hazel and also clearing some of the rather invasive (if pretty) rhododendron.
