8th March Task @ Mile and a Quarter (Whitewebbs) Cancelled

posted 7 Mar 2020, 06:33 by Robin Herbert

Tomorrow's ECV task at Mile and a Quarter has to be cancelled as no van has been made available for us to transport the tools. So I'm afraid there will be no squelching through the quagmire that the footpath has become!

The weather has beaten us. Due to the threatened wind and rain expected, we have deemed it sensible to cancel the ECV task at Firs Farm.

Sunday 11th November 2018 - change of location

posted 3 Nov 2018, 10:39 by Robin Herbert

This task was planned as being at the Prince of Wales Open Space, where we would have been continuing the work started last time (14th October). However, it has been discovered that the material for the task has been stolen.
Instead, will now be working at Camlet Moat https://goo.gl/maps/2HXtUA29UKD2 (dredging the moat and cutting back vegetation) in Trent Park. The meeting place for those who do not know where Camlet Moat is will be the council yard (Snakes Lane https://goo.gl/maps/Tmqnr17oQV72) but otherwise meet at the 5 bar gate entrance to the moat (parking at Hadley Road car park).
